Quill is an Android voice dictation app that uses your own AI service key. Its floating button lets you speak and insert text into the app you are using. - ### Add your API key Choose a speech provider and save your key in Quill. - ### Tap the button and speak Focus a text field, then tap the floating button. Quill sends the recording directly to your provider. - ### Review the text Quill inserts the transcript into the field. Check the words before you send them. That provider’s retention and training rules apply. ### History stays on your device History is on by default and keeps transcripts for one hour. Change the retention period or use private mode to stop saving history. ### Optional text cleanup Enable “Tidy my dictation” to send the transcript to Groq with your Groq key. Cleanup sends text, never audio. ### No ads or analytics in Quill The app has no analytics or telemetry. Optional crash reports are shared only when you choose to send them.
